MECHANICAL  ENGINEER 

Dubak Elektro Group is currently seeking Mechanical Engineers in Belgrade, Serbia to perform mechanical systems design and implementation for our Prefabrication Facility and for our manufacturing clients. These individuals will work closely with our Engineering and Pre-Construction teams in the greater Chicago, Illinois area to support new or existing mechanical systems for various construction projects throughout the United States. Due to the time difference, the working hours for these positions will be 10:00 am-6:00 pm, or 11:00 am-7:00PM to overlap with US office hours Central Standard Time to enable collaboration with our teams in the U.S.

 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 

• Mechanical Design capability and working knowledge utilizing AutoCAD, Solidworks, and Revit

• Develops manufacturing processes by designing and modifying equipment for fabricating, building, assembling, and installing components.

• Layout & design capabilities pertaining to mechanical systems, from conceptual phase though design completion

• Work with the project team throughout the design and construction process

• Adapt mechanical plans in accordance to budget, design criteria, and client requirements

• Design working prototypes for beta testing and customer demonstrations

• Work within project teams consisting of Clients, Engineers, and Prefabrication team through all phases of a project

• Partner and collaborate closely with our US based Engineering team

• Understand the project scope and be proactive to keep the team and management informed on any project concerns

• Share ideas and be solution-oriented with your Engineering team

• Qualified individuals may be asked to travel to the U.S for business needs and additional training

• Work well under pressure to meet deadlines consistently

 

Qualifications for this position:

 

• 4-year degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience

• Excellent Math Skills: ability to apply advanced mathematical principles and statistics to solve problems

• Exceptional technical and problem-solving skills

• 3+ years of experience with Industrial Ventilation, HVACR, and Mechanical Systems (Piping, Hydraulics, and Pneumatics)

• 3+ years of experience in AutoCAD, Solidworks, and Revit

• 3+ years of experience with mechanical design within the industrial construction industry

• Must be proficient in English for all verbal and written communication

• After a probationary period, an individual may be eligible to work a hybrid schedule, based on their demonstrated work ethic, proficiency, and time management skills
